Zali is definitely the realization of the aspiration, 30 several years in the making... in a very kitchen area, in a house, in Beirut –a family members that, the same as every single other spouse and children on the planet, was persuaded that their mother’s cooking, was the best.
Our chef: The heartbeat of inspiration
And so, Liza, an anagram of Zali, went from comprehensive-time mother and grandmother to entire-time chef. Our chef is Lebanese-Armenian and has lived the vast majority of her Dinner existence in Lebanon. for thus long, she beloved testing her own recipes and photographing dishes. But her passion didn't depart her household’s nest right up until Zali made available her that opportunity. Now, her homegrown joy and fervour for cooking are for you and the whole world to taste!
In all our dishes are flavors which have built the journey many of the way from Lebanon. You may take a number of them back residence!
We simply call them “Mouneh”, an Arabic word for pantry provisions: a number of home made jars with preserved and dried delicacies for you to invest in and check out. They may be ready by our chef or made by farmers back again home. “Mouneh”is often a Lebanese custom of preserving food through the seasons.
